Im Thinking This Will Actually Be Easy...

Well lets start this off...
I started off with an 87 Toyota pickup with a 22r carb. about a month and a half ago my friend gave me an 89 4-runner sr5 with a seized 3.0 and auto trans. It only took me a weekend to pull the 3.0 out and the auto out and take my 22r with manual trans and install that into the 4 runner and actually get it running. i also have all the guages working on the sr5 cluster.

now in my findings at a local junk yard there is a 22re FI. now im not excatly sure but im thinking all im gonna need to do to swap this in to mine would be to take wiring, computer, intake and maybe the dirstibuter and coil... this wont be plug and play i know. there will have to be a little wiring but my 4 runner now was already set up for FI so it shouldn't be as hard as saying have a full on carb set up going to FI... any one have any suggestions or hints on doing this... thanks much-Brian

You are correct, make sure you get all the sensors too.
You will have to drill and tap the block for the knock sensor.
