Is there anyone here that is a "GPS Wiz?" I was wondering if there is a way to import a pdf map into my gps device? Before I spend hours researching and doing various types of file conversions and overlays etc.. I thought I'd check and see if anyone here has already done this?
I have a garmin Nuvi 500 (the one with the topo maps) and while it shows the topographic layout of the land it doesn't show the trails.
So for instance this weekend at hollister I still had to rely on a paper map given to me at the gate to navigate through the park. I thought it would be sweet if there was a way to download and import the PDF map or overlay it into the system showing the trails on my GPS device.
