There is a couple us: but a get together...no thanks. I'll stick to the forum...you never know...we can be all a bunch of psychos. CT weather does that to you.
I wasn't sure if any off road clubs were formed from the forum here, it was just a thought. Never thought about the physco factor, never really had a need too.
Checking in here from Middletown.....just bought my first 4 runner, 01 Sport.....Hopefully it will last longer than that POS Expedition I traded in for it!
I'm up here in Enfield, not to far from you. I also have a 2001 SR5 and I haven't had it long either. I had it dropped off in the driveway Feb. 7th and I like it much better then the F150 I had.
Do you know of any off road clubs here in CT?
It's not quite as quiet as my car ( a little more engine noise under half-full throttle) but in all other ways it is a superior vehicle. One thing though, I wish the seat pan had better adjustability. And mileage, but it's close to the 20mpg I was getting in my sedan. I hope the 4runner lasts at least ten years without abusing it.
In about 4 years I will buy an AWD sports sedan, probably a G35 or Maxima if by that time they are available with AWD, but I will still keep the truck.
