In-dash double-din Radio/DVD

My OEM radio failed a week ago. Actually CD failed; radio still working, but CD doesn't. This makes me thing of getting some aftermarket unit. I looked at my local radio stores, but nobody was able to recommend me something which suits my needs.
I'm looking for:
- double-din. My original was double-din JBL with 6-disc changer, so let it be the same
- capability of playing CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW
- MP3
- satellite radio ready (preferable)
- full face LCD (preferable)
- steering control working. I like to use the original Toyota steering controls, so the radio should support them. I remember somebody mentioned a while ago that some aftermarket radios does support it, but do not remember which ones.

I'm not sure which ones support the steering wheel controls, but I have been looking at that Kenwood DDX-6019. It's an in-dash, doubld-din dvd player. It has a full face touchscreen LCD. It's capable of playing anything that you have listed and it's satellite ready. The only thing is you'll have to buy the adapter for it whether it be XM or Sirius. It is also bluetooth capable, also with an adapter, for hands free phone if you need it and your phone supports it. Only thing is, this isn't a 6-disc changer, so it may not be what you're looking for, but I have been reading up on it and it seems like a pretty good unit. But like I said, it may not bee what you're looking for since it's not multiple disc.

The only 6 disc on the market that I know of is the Pioneer AVH-P6800DVD . It's a sweet unit and I've installed 2 of them. Should do everything you are looking for.

I just recently installed the Dual Xdvd8285 ...and I really love it. I have no need for a navigation system (I have a separate handheld), but I use the Bluetooth constantly. The unit has a built-in SD card reader...and I have almost 1100 songs on a 4GB card. I don't even have any CDs in my car anymore. The unit is XM ready...no adapter is needed, the tuner plugs right into the headunit. So between the XM and SD card I am set.
It also came with a sweet little remote unit that handles one AV input, a 3.5mm jack input and iPod input. I have that installed in the dash pocket.
the only negatives I have about it is the unit is bright...even with the brightness level turned all the way down. But it does come with a feature that puts the screen in standby...the unit still plays with the screen asleep and one touch wakes it up.
I ran the wire for the emergency brake to a grounded switch because the e-brake was a bitch to get to. Yes, it will play when I am driving if I want it to...but that's asking for trouble.
All in all I give it 8 of 10...mainly because of the brightness level.

But trust me, don't get dual. You'll be disappointed. Save your money and buy a unit that is quality.

I went to duals site; their specs are retarded. "internal cooling fan"... no shit.

"play/pause" ... holy shit, this ones a keeper.

I must agree... you get what you pay for... I have a Pioneer AVHP6800DVD and love it... also there is a new kenwood double din on the market if you are looking for nav... this unit should retail for around 1100... also the Pioneer AVIC-D3 with nav should retail for around 1000... these two include the nav but not 6 disc... you have to stick with the 6800 if you want that... but you can find an add on piece like the AVIC80-DVD if it is a must... just a pain to wire in... good luck

the all in one kenwood unit retails way more than 1100. Model number is DNX7100 and i'm pretty sure retail is $1700.
