Nice pics bro!!

When was that storm? How'd the 4Runner handle itself? What kidn of tires do you have (Michelins or Dunlops?)

July

Stevens Pass

Thanks.
The pics were taken at Stevens Pass before they opened in '03. (you can tell by the empty lot! :p ) I couldn't wait to drive it in the snow!

I was able to test the VSC, which worked as expected cutting power when slippage is dectected. However not very much fun in an empty lot! So once I locked the diff, fagetaboutit! :D I felt like I could go anywhere. Probably not, but it was fun trying. My dog was a bit confused with all the bouncing around and sideways motion...

Oh, and Momo is correct, it is Galactic Grey, to match the cladding. I think grey is the only color that looks good with the cladding.

Grey does look good with the cladding, but I have to disagree with you on it being the "only" color that looks good with the cladding.

I also disagree. I think the silver also looks good. :hat: I am very familar with that white stuff living in Jersey. I do not have many pictures because I forgot my camera due to all of the fun I had. Now I miss the snow. My 4Runner feels so lost without it!! :(

wow....It does look great in snow...I bought mine when the snow season was over...didn't even have one chance to try it out....My tire is Bridgestone Dueler H/T D840...in Tirerack it ranks only 4.8 in snow... I really want to change them to the Michelin Cross Terrain...but the Bridgestone tires are still new...if I can sell them, I will buy the Michelin tires...like sharp4runr, I use my suv for on-road purpose.

I have the Dunlops. They seem to be sufficient, but they have not seen mud yet. I wish they would wear out soon, so I can replace them with the BFG A/T's. Had them on my truck and loved them.
