Does anyone have a pre-2002 and therefore pre-LATCH vehicle in which they have had to use one of the shoulder belts to fasten an infant carrier base to the seat? Im going to give the dealership a call today to see if LATCH can be retrofitted, but was hoping someone in this same situation can provide pics to show how they fastened the base. Its a bit different than fastening a regular child car seat.

What kind of carseat do you have? The one we have just fastens down with the regular seat belt.

the full size seat we have is fastened down with the regular drivers side belt in the back seat. the ratchet system works just fine. however, for the infant seat which i hope to need one day, the ratchet system does not work as well and there is too much shifting in the seat.
