Hi,

Found a winch (8000 lb WARN M8000 - 4-5 years old) and a winch mount off a 2000 tacoma. Is this a perfect fit for a 97 4Runner? Seller wants $400.

What do you guys think?

can;t comment on the mount but the winch is a good one and the weight rating is right, i know that with my arb bumper i have some fitment issues with my winch that i still need to work out.

The ARB bumper is a tacoma version and you are trying to get it installed into a 3rd gen 4Runner? and have trouble with the mounting hardware?

I am new to this area and don't know any machine shops around. What do you think about the price? is it worth? Brand new winch is $590 + Tax + shipping.

Don't know if the bumper will fit but you might consider buying it for the winch then selling the bumper and getting your money back to use for a proper fitting bumper if that doesn't fit.
