Info. Destination AT tires

I just received a message from Firestone that the Destination AT in 275-70-17 (c-load) will be available the first part of December. They are back-ordered every place that I have looked, so this will be my early Christmas present.

I've been very pleased with mine. I'm surprised they're sold out - I didn't realize how lucky I was when I went out and grabbed them... After looking at pics on here at non-AT Destinations (MT) I somewhat kick myself for not getting something a little knobbier - but they are great tires and ride well, though a little more floaty than the factory tires. Same size as what you're running, 38 PSI for the air pressure.

They look great... Mine are the stock size (265/70/17) but here's a pic where you can see how much more agressive the tread looks compared to the stock Duellers:

I persuaded the dealer to put the Firestone Destination ATs on the Trail purchased in July rather than the pathetic Dunlop tires that came with it. Very pleased with their performance both on and off road now with 5000 miles on them. I had put them on my 05 Nissan Frontier Nismo in May replacing the Bridgestone Revos. Based on that good experience, I had no reluctance to ask for them on the Trail.

Got my Destination ATs today, the dealer was able to get 4 together from other dealers. I do not have enough miles on them to ell how they are going to be. I am sure I will be happy though this is the second time I have had these tires. I will post pictures and a report after the weekend I have a 1000 mile trip planned, Mount Washington and Acadia National Forest.

I went with the LT265/70-17 Load C, I am sure it has been covered on here somewhere, but what tire pressure do I need to run? I found a chart and I believe I am supposed to run them at 44PSI to achieve the same load rating.

I just recieved good news today, the Firestone store called and they found 4 275-70-17 Destination A/T`s. They should be mounted on my truck Monday morning. :bigok:

They are actually more "floaty" than the stock Bridgestones? I was hoping they would be a little more stable.

How would these compare to the Revos?

I want to go with 275s...

I can`t compare them to the Revo`s (never had them), but I am very happy with the tires so far, no noise, handle and drive great. No fitment issues with the 275 size.

Cool. Thanks.

I have to get rid of these HTs. I'd drove in heavy rain the last couple of days. It is quite clear the stock tires are not up to task.

I had Revos on on my Titan. They were ok. But, they did wear quickly.
