Info on these TRD wheels

In this thread http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/119896-2010-trd-supercharger-5.html

These TRD wheels are shown mounted on a FJC. Someone posted they are for sure 17"s but no other info was posted, which is fine since it was a supercharger thread and getting off-topic...

But does anyone have info on P/N? are they one off's or future TRD wheels? width? I've searched the web and keep getting info on the newer rock warrior TRD wheels. And yes I see the license plate that says "concept vehicle" but it looks just like my wifes 08 FJC except the rear bumper is a bit sexier.

Thanks!

T

You kinda answered your own question.... "Concept vehicle"

You probably wont find much info on those wheels. Now the cool remote res suspension, SC, exhaust and CAI...maybe.

These were on the concept FJ at the summit. If I recall correctly, the gent from TRD said they'd be available on ~6 months (but who knows). Weight is allegedly in the mid-low 20's.

Ya , They were 17's for sure and pretty sure he said they were 17x8 and zero offset.

Pretty sure they are pictured/featured in the 2013 FJC brochure from memory. I don't recall if specs were there. But I doubt it as Toyota's brochure generally suck for that kind of info.

Found out they weigh mid 20 lbs, available in 6 months to a year and that they are 17x8. All of which I didn't know until I started this thread and even after searching the interweb...

Thanks for the info from the rest of you guys!

You now also know they looked pretty darn nice in person :roadkill:

That sounds right if they are 17x8. I was surprised when I weighed my recently sold 17" x 7.5" TRD wheels that they weighed 27lbs each. The steel ring looks really cool but weighs about 2 pounds on its own.

You forgot 0 offset.

matte gray too—cool! where'd you find that c2one? nice grab!

very interested to learn what these wheels actually weigh. if i recall correctly, the OEM Trail wheels are ~28 lbs. be great if these TRDs shave a couple pounds off that and help offset the additional weight of 285 tires. :hungry:

On Toyota's TRD site.
http://www.toyotaracing.com/trd/parts-detail.html?p=PTR20-35110-GR

According to their description these are alloy wheels making them lighter.

I like those. Now for the cost.... I'm gonna say $499 per wheel
hope not. guessing these won't be priced liked the TRD faux beadlocks; lower end, so to speak. i'm thinking/hoping they'll be priced more in line with the old style 16" TRD wheels for the FJ.
