Yeah man, 285's should fit on them fine. Quite a few guys are running 285 on stock wheels.

Sorry I'm such a 4Runner n00b. I know I can run 305's on my GT500's stock wheels (comes with 285), wasn't sure about the 4Runner

As I thought might happens, looks like toyota has restricted the sales. Good this I got mine.
i registered here just to post here...
my buddy has a '14 TE and tried ordering as well..
at first, they accepted, and then replied with an e-mail stating they cannot sell b/c he did't have a '15...
i knew these would be limited, but damn... that was quick on Toyotas part to drop the ax so quick.
I'll be keeping an eye on this thread, in hopes things change.

So I emailed trdparts4u.com and asked them why the black TRD wheels had disappeared from their website. I got this response:
"Unfortunately these wheels are no longer available. TRD was unable to keep up with demand. They will remain unavailable for purchase until TRD gets their supply back up."
Just to see what would happen, I contacted the parts department at my local Toyota dealership yesterday and asked if they could get me a set. They had never even heard of these wheels. They were familiar with the grey ones but hadn't seen the black version. I figured I was just out of luck, but the parts manager called me back this morning and said that he'd located a set and that he could have them at the dealership for me on Monday.
I'm definitely not counting any chickens until they hatch, but I'll post an update on Monday to let everybody know what happens...
