Info on these TRD wheels

I plan to keep my OEM wheels with the factory tires and swap out periodically when doing road-trips to spend time with my folks (where likelihood of off-roading is slim). Saves miles on the better AT tires/wheels.
I was really interested in these wheels but decided to hold off for now.
Monday I called several dealers about a set of black... most said they are not available or could not even find them in the system. One dealer found six sets available between two distribution centers. He said he had to force entry the part number to find them and it does not guarantee they are actually available.
Just thought I would share the info.

I got a call back yesterday, Aug 26, 2014, from Derek at Conicelli Toyota Parts Center Conicelli Parts Center yesterday informing me the same song and dance from Toyota claiming that to order said wheels your VIN had to match with a vehicle that came with the wheels on them in order to get a replacement wheel....
Today, Aug 27, 2014, he called me back and told me "Toyota just called him back and said if anyone wants to order these wheels, they have been released for sale".
Just supplying the info.
Yeah, just to inform you guys...
My buddy just ordered from here (partznet.com) and got them for $165 each and just got his shipping confirmation.

I'm shocked at the prices that Conicelli Toyota Parts Center can get these for. I went to 2 local dealerships. One said $215 + California Tax.
Another one said $225 + tax and a maybe for ordering... I told the $225 dealership... hey btw the official toyota TRD website lists MSRP at $215 and he gave me this weird looks as if I didn't know what I was talking about.

They'll probably add $40 more for shipping, when I first ordered with them last week they said it cost like 100 total to ship them

Did you remember to use the coupon code I provided in an earlier post for a addition 10% off. These guys have the best price around considering the just about always have and additional discount plus free shipping on items under 20lbs.

The grey ones have been available for a while now. It was the black ones that are in question because they are made specifically for the TRD Pro truck.
