And the TRD's design is pretty similar to Mickey Thompson Sidebiters that have been out for years and in wider widths.

I can give yall another update on these TRD Pro Black rims. I have been trying to order a set of 4 for over 2 weeks. I have paid money to 3 places only to have 1 tell me that they made a mistake and that they aren't available. The others didn't have the decency to tell me I had to call and find out why they didn't ship. Of course they all took my money freely. I followed up on all the leads that were posted. I had one parts guy check availability in the system and I found 2 dealers that had 4 in stock. I called one of them and he told me that they were "the last in the country" he wanted $1399 for a pair of 4 ($350 each). Think maybe someone is trying to screw me. I then found a pair of 4 for the going price of $215 each. I was told that there is 358 in one of the parts depot so they are in the system but the hold is being enforced. I was told that most likely they were short in supply and could not support current production in the new car assembly line and until the short supply was rectified they would be temporarily on hold. I was told they would probably be available in May. Time will tell.

yes sir its comes with centre cap..sorry to hear that they don't sell the black ones anymore..i ordered mine september last year..well i don't know about that info.i hope its nots true

FN makes nice wheels to begin with WITHOUT ripping off designs. I don't get it. At least change it a bit, and or offer different colors...

ECLIPSE21 - I just called and ordered these over the phone in MT BLK with a guy named Shawn. He did say that the price was an error on the webpage, which Ive read in past pages of this thread that, that has happened to other members. I however pulled up another site which has also been listed in this thread for 174.44. He matched that price and said they would ship this friday. I already got an invoice number and email confirmation...hopefully its not a scam but I will keep you posted when/if they show up.
Side note: I just purchased my wifes 2015 SR5P in Super White yesterday and talked to the Local parts department and they said they had these wheels in stock but said they couldnt compete with online prices due to overhead etc...

So I just got a call after getting a email invoice and being charged for the wheels that "Toyota wont release these wheels unless I have proof that I had them on my vehicle when I bought them" so im getting refunded...
This isnt new to me as I had trouble getting some other FJ wheels for my tacoma. I am curious however on how everyone else is getting these rims from online shops other than ebay.

So just a general update on these rims - take it for what it is... I called a few other online places and they are all saying the same thing. Then I called my local dealership to see if they could sell me these of course at $215 MSRP a wheel and they can - but they are on backorder which makes me think that’s why no one is selling them online either. The parts guys on the phone said there is 384qty on backorder so to check back periodically....

Have any of you guys tried Toyota of Dallas recently? I was able to add 4 flat black to my shopping cart on their website, but didn't go beyond that -- it's possible that at checkout it may result in the same dead ends you all are running into everywhere else.
Edit: Never mind -- just called them out of curiosity, and he said the same thing -- Toyota has them on hold. Sorry!

Gang...I've ordered 5 sets of the BLACK TRD wheels in the last few days and gotten the same "sorry about your luck" e-mail. This is beyond disapointing, as I was going to order these wheels three weeks ago and kept putting it off.
If anyone finds anything out about these wheels, I'd love to hear about it!

I called the dealership that we purchased our T4R from Saturday for information about the black TRD wheels and was told that I couldn't order them without giving my VIN and even then they might not sell them to me because Toyota wants them to be special for the TRD pro only. Then I called the dealership across town and was told that they could get them and was even given a price, but they haven't been released yet and to try back in about a month. They where listed in the accessories brochure we looked at when we bought our T4R in February but we didn't ask then. So hopefully the last guy I talked to knew what he was talking about and I can get them in a month.
Many of us have bought and are using them, so they "were" released. But I do believe that Toyota has a "hold sale" on them at the current moment. Maybe you can find a TRD Pro VIN and see if they will sell them to you, or you can wait, probably will be back on the market in the future.
