IMO grey looks great on white especially with RWL if RWL is your thing. I prefer black walls though so I went with black. There are pics somewhere in this thread of a white 5th gen with grey TRD rims and RWL and I think it looks awesome.
Do you have any pics from the front or rear? Your gx470 looks great. I'm looking at these wheels for my gx470.

FN f(x) pro's wrapped in BFG AT KO2
Really happy with the way this setup looks. I have been thinking (obsessing) about these wheels for a few months now and I couldn't be happier.
I talked to Dustin [MENTION=85422]FNWheels[/MENTION] to check availability and he confirmed he had the black f(x) pros in stock. I am local, so I met him at his shop to pick them up and save on shipping.
People have said it before but I will reiterate it here...Dustin is a great guy and a true professional! He really does go the extra mile for his customers.
He hand inspected each wheel with me to make sure everything was perfect. I mentioned that I read a post about the TRD center caps falling out due to the plastic tabs breaking. He explained that the retaining/tension ring should be removed prior to installing so the plastic tabs can flex, then install the ring from the back once the center cap is in. It makes perfect sense and it was the first time my tire installer had ever heard that. They are making that their standard process going forward.
In all of the vehicles I have owned, this is the first set of after-market wheels I have purchased. Dustin recommended that I go over the wheels with the installer to show them that the wheels were new and flawless, which helps keep me covered (as much as possible) in the event something happened during the installation. Again, it makes total sense, but something I would not have done had he not recommended it.
I also got a smoking deal on the BFG's...4Wheelparts.com has a special going for $165.99 per tire (LT265/70R17, Load C BFG AT KO2) and I had the tire shop I have been going to for years do the best they could to price match. (Note that the 4wheelparts installation cost is a bit pricey, so even though the per tire price was more, the out the door cost was slightly less).
Very happy with my new shoes and ready to hit the trails with my new CVT tent!

I'd have to agree with the previous comments about Dustin at FN Wheels. Fantastic customer service and all round good guy. He set me up with a dealer in Canada that was able to supply the dark gunmetal wheels at a reasonable price.
Those are 285/70/17's with the TRD centre caps and chrome splined wheel nuts.
Something like 4 pounds a corner lighter than the yota wheels (but who am I kidding the tires eat up the savings) a deeper dish and a little wider. Haven't had much time on them yet, but very much like them so far.

please post pics from the front or rear showing if the tires stick out from the fenders. Those wheels look great!
Thanks! Unfortunately I'm about 3500 miles from my runner, and can't do that at the moment. I'll be home by November sometime, so will post up then. My build thread has a few shots but none that really show what you're looking for, plus it's a 4th gen so might not be generalizable. I can say that the tires sit inwards of the fender line By a few mm at the top of the tire, and stick out at the bottom of the truck by a bit (due to the profile of the body, not poor camber

The chromed spline nuts are a nice touch!

From what I can gather from this and other threads, the Limited wheels weigh ±35 lbs. and, with the factory Yokohama G96Bs at ±36 lbs. (per TireRack and Amazon), yield a total weight of ±71 lbs. (plus balancing weights and TPMS).
If the 17" TRD wheels are ±26 lbs., combining them with 265/70R17 KO2s in load range C (at 45.7 lbs. per BFG) yields <72 lbs.; effectively the same unsprung weight as stock (slightly less with load range C Duratracs at ± 44lbs. and obviously less with your lighter FN f(x) Pro wheels).

I just ordered a set of the matte black Trd pro wheels and was wondering if anyone is running these with black lug nuts. If so can you post some pics and a link to where it was purchased.

very nice. Unfortunately, they're not available though Toyota Canada for me so looks like it's going to be OEM steelies for my winter tires.
Who do you trust?
Have you used that DT before?
Can you watch the install at your dealer?
Not saying they would screw it up but I had the FN version installed at DT, told them how I wanted it done and that's how it was done. The guy was careful and no scratches or other problems. Can you watch the install at your dealer

Does TRD Pro center caps fit on FN wheel?
I like the fact the FN wheels are an inch wider 17x8, rather than 17x7, but really like the black factory Trd pro centers caps w/red trd logo, will they fit on the FN wheels?
