Looks perfect! Do you have pictures of the gunmetal and black finish with the color keyed trd center caps?

Also, do you sell color keyed trd center caps?

Hi [MENTION=132063]Matt Hightower[/MENTION] - I was finally able to get that weight for you from one of my Toyota contacts.

Per my contact - a factory 20x7" 4Runner Limited wheel is approximately 37lbs w/o tire, and 72 lbs with a 245/60R20 Yokohama OEM (used) tire. These numbers should be considered accurate +/- 1lbs due to tire wear and wheel weights for balancing.

That's right in line with what I'd pieced together from all over the internet; thank you! Can you confirm the weight of the 17x8 Six Shooters? Still trying to decide between them and the TRD 17x7's. Thanks!

That's hot. I've wanted to avoid black rims on my red Trail, but didn't want silver or grey. That looks great.

We just got our ICON lift installed. We have V.S. 2.5 Remote Coil-overs and rear shocks, 3" Expedition springs, and the ICON tubular UCA. The entire lift is approximately 3" all around, at least. It will be lower (especially in the rear) when it settles and we add some weight.

I think the FN wheels and 285's look really good on the lifted truck and we no longer have any rubbing on the fenders. We had it aligned at 4 degrees caster and zero everything else.

We can't wait to try it out. Here it (my wife calls it 'Big Sexy') is in the Malibu hills.

I just installed TRD Pro Rims and was wondering if anyone has gotten different color lug nuts for the rims. Maybe red or black. If so, where did you get them?

FN fx wheels

Just got my black wheels best pics I'll get for a while due to pending snowfall. Really loving the improvement in the stance. With my 285's the outside of the tire is 4mm in from the fender flare.

What are folks with the FN fx wheels using to clean them? Can't get ahold of FN wheels to confirm.

I was using 303 protectant and Mequiar's Quick Detailer on my factory rims.

This is what FN sent me for cleaning the matte wheels:

"I don't recommend using any wax designed for high gloss finishes They will make the wheels look glossy / streaky. Here are the products we used to clean and spray seal :

Chemical Guys - Meticulous Matte Auto Wash for Satin Finish & Matte Finish Paint (16 oz)

Chemical Guys - Meticulous Matte Detailer & Spray Sealant (16 oz)

I also recommend that you order high quality, edge-less micro fiber towels to apply the spray sealant/detailer.

You might see a product called Matte Jet Wax on the Chemical Guys website. I DO NOT recommend this product. We bought a bottle to test, and it turned our matte wheels shiny. In general the more you rub a matte clear coated finish the more likely you are to make it shiny. So while we do wax our high gloss wheels, we recommend that you only clean the wheels using the above products. There are some VERY expensive waxes on the market that claim to work well on matte finishes, but I haven't been able to sample them yet, so I cannot recommend them."

I was looking up how to clean and plastidip my wheels and came across this youtube video. I probably won't go that that extreme just to clean my wheels for my application, but if you have the time have at it.

Any rub with that setup? I've got the same time in my Garage and am considering using the duratracs 285s

Diesel_Dog;Short answer yes on the rubbing. Had already done fender liner mod on driver side when the lift and Duratracs went on. After the FN f(x) install had to trim passenger side liner.

Really hadn't planned on buying these based on the online pics but when I saw them in person with the centre caps I couldn't believe how great these look! Thanks for the lead with Cochrane Toyota!

I like the fact the FN wheels are an inch wider 17x8, rather than 17x7, but really like the black factory Trd pro centers caps w/red trd logo, will they fit on the FN wheels?

Any ideas to help Keep the Red TRD letters from fading or wearing off as even the Parts guy says they wear off easy.

What black lug nuts are you guys using with these? I skimmed through the whole thread but all the ebay links were either dead or no longer available. Should these work? Not sure how the black chrome will look with matte black rims though..
