Info on these TRD wheels

A warning, I ran across these on ebay that seemed like a good deal and had "OEM Specs". They were really aftermarket knockoffs. Part number was "J230SB1780.15" They did not fit, as they did not have enough room for the calipers. If you are ordering these, make sure they are from a verified and trusted seller.

Plan on putting in my order for a set of the F(x) Pros today. Question regarding the TRD center cap (PTR18-35092)...I swear I read somewhere that the trick to getting them on is to remove the metal band...did I make that up, or is that actually the case?

This seller used to sell them for 600 set. now the seller jacked up the price. Look at the photoshopped center cap.

That is the way to do it so nothing gets broken. Same with the black centercap you get with them from FN if desired. It comes off easy enough, cap through the center, band back on to secure, mount wheel. Seconds to do.

Rims ordered. Also went ahead and got the TRD center caps from Dustin, as well, since he stocks them...one shot, done and done.

Will the TPMS sensors swap from my Trail wheels to the F(x) Pros? Are they pretty standardized?

Plan is to take the wheels over to Discount Tire that's across the street and let them do their thing.

I ordered a set of bronze f(x) Pro wheels from Dustin about a month ago. He was an absolute pleasure to do business with and I couldn't be happier with how the wheels look!

I put some BFG A/T KO2's in 285/70/17 on them.
