Info on these TRD wheels

This pic of my runner was posted on another thread showing a bit of damage to the front bumper, but it clearly shows the TRDP wheels. This are new 285 KO2's.

Who are you Guys having balance your TRD wheels? I had to go to several dealers before I found one that did it right and even then I'd say it's at like 98% of where it should be.

Discount Tire did mine just fine.

So where are you guys getting the oem 17x7 wheels? Seems like you can get these 17x8 easily but then you wouldn't be able to use stock tires

I just got my set about a week ago. I ordered it on a Friday and received it the next Wednesday. Very fast.. and i live in Hawaii. The quality of the paint job on my set was not that great. there are numerous spots where there may have been some dust, so there are little bubble specs here and there. they made sure that the paint covered well on the front and sides(which is most important), but the back of the rim was very much unfinished. Also the thing that bugged me the most is I'm pretty sure I got a darker shade of the matte bronze than the normal color bronze they usually use(not really what i wanted). I don't want to bag on the company though, their service was great. I just feel like I got the bunk set of wheels that nobody wanted. Just an honest review of my experience.
Over all Im unsure if i can recommend these wheels.
that said I've also heard of bad stories about the OEM TRD wheels.
you never know..

looks like the smaller 7" wheel makes the treads stick out a little further with the 285 tire. looks good

Stock tires and suspension with matte grey TRD wheels. Going with BFG A/T KO2s when these wear out.

I went with the FN FX Pros in matte black. Hope to have them installed soon. Center cap decals are from importequipment.

I think I'll end up going for the mate-gunmetal FN wheels. Still trying to figure out how to get the center caps with Toyota emblems instead of TRD as I don't want anything that says TRD on my Trail...
