This may be a stupid question, and it may be already addressed some where on this site, if it is please direct me there. My issue is I've got a 96 sr5 2wd and about 2 yrs ago i had the passenger rear wheel seal replaced and it is leaking again, I know there are problems with these, my question is since the bearing and outer seal was replaced then and isnt showing any sign of issue, can i just replace the inner seal and be ok or do i need to do a full rear seal and bearing job?

First place to start, pull the axle out and find out where te seal is riding on the inner retainer. If its been leaking that long, the bearings probably have had the grease washed out. That why I have been urging people to actively check for leaks via the ABS sensor hole periodically. By the time it shows up at the wheel, it way too late.
If you put some MP grease on the retainer and reinsert it back in, spinthe axle and pull it out, there should be a prominent ring from where the seal was. If tere is no ring, you need to measure carefully and have the new inner retainer positioned more inbound. If there is a ring and it looks centered on the retainer, the bearing was probably the cause of the failure and needs to be replaced. In either case, I would say replace te bearings again. Be sure to only use
OEM seals and bearings.
