input on front options

I was curious to see what you guys think of these combinations either you run them, have run them or know someone that does and what the opinions on them are, thanks in advance guys

1) 5100 Bilstein adjustable and 881

2) 5100 Bilstein adjustable and 883

3) 881 and top plate spacer and OME 90004 shocks

4) 883 and OME 90004 shocks

5) 5100 bilstein with ToyTec coil over adjustable kit (with the spanner wrenches)

I am trying to get to 3", would be nice to have some adjustability, but would sacrifice that if the set up was very good

I would vote for option #5, the ToyTec coilovers. They ride nice, flex well, you can dial in the exact lift you want.

Other options I would include would be any using the bilsteins. In my opinion, best shock out there (off the shelf, under $150per shock type).

why not look at 5100s and eibach springs. Its what i have, and i love them. Theyre very comfortable, and give 3inches on the lowest sertting on the 5100. Theyre also a wee bit cheaper than OME springs. I have nothing to complain about mine.

i was thinking about the eibach springs but toytec is on back order, not sure how they were going to hold up, thanks for the idea

:thumb3: This is the setup I have and I agree with Gerdo's comments as I have been very pleased with this setup. Off-road it's perfect; on-road it's a little sensative on these crappy concrete roads in TX. It's not bad but I swear these roads were made by a 5 year old hopped up on energy drinks; they're uneven and not even close to smooth.

I run my rig completely empty though so once I get some bumpers added I expect the road bounce will be reduced as it is when the rig is loaded or hauling passengers.

Front coilovers are F4-BE5-6930-H5 Shocks & 955600 Coils
Rear Setup is 60028 Shocks & OME 891 Coils

I have the Bilstein 5100 & Tundra LC coil setup and it is very good onroad and offroad.

How much does a ToyTech coil over setup cost? They seem way to expensive to be worth it to me. I also wonder if they are even superior to the SS1.2 setup that I have for all that extra $$.

i have the 5100 witht the eibach coils up front and i just ordered mine about a week before christmas and were here within 8 days. they ride great and gave me the exact 3" i was looking for

I'm currently deciding on a front setup too. Rear will be 890s and 5100s.

Leaning towards the tundra setup from Sonoran.

You could always piece together your own Tundra/5100 combo. If you take the 2nd notch (just under halfway), this is exactly how you'll stand. And I can't praise the ride quality enough.
P.s. The rear springs still have less than 1000 miles on them and are 890's.

i am leaning towards either the 5100's and the adjustable coil-overs or just the straight eibach springs, seems the best way to go, plus with the coil overs i can get the ride height i want to match the rack i am looking for in the rear, which i run rear LC shocks and 861's

I'm very happy with it. The only thing is, with 861s and/or 883s, I recommend having some extra weight on your truck if you run those coils. That is my stance with ~7-800 lbs in armor, tools, and gear inside.

Actually my CVs sit flatter than most lifted 3rd gens I've seen. I've broken a couple CVs, but I'm also locked up front and running 35s, so that makes a big difference. I never broke a CV unlocked with 33s. But I also couldn't do a lot of the trails I can now.

If I ever take DD duty off my runner I will be the next one on 35's.
