Input on Lift kit and etc please.

Ok.. So like I stated above I'm leaning towards a modest lift kit, With that said how does it effect gas milage ride comfort on/off road, how much articulation does a modest lift allow, and how capable are our rigs off road with and with out a lift.. now I allready know that they do great stock on modest trails and in snow/mud/sand. Just want to get some experianced anwsers. Thanks

Comfort, handling, articulation depends on which lift you get.

Honestly I dont think any higher than 5 inches but would settle for 3" if it holds the same ability for trails

This link will get you started. Without buying upper control arms and spending real money 2.5-3.5 is about it for the 4runner. With that size of a lift many run 285/70/17's with some trimming. 275/70/17's fit easily and a full-sized spare fits. Some good pics here: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/showthread.php?t=51742
