Inside roof cargo net

I remember reading someone who fabricated an inside roof cargo net but can't find it for the life of me. They replaced the rear grab handles and hooks with d rings. Can anyone help me locate that thread? And how would you replace the rear grab handles to fit d rings?

It was something fabricated, not available for purchase. A cheaper alternative to the raingler and safari straps. Replaced grab handles and hooks with d rings and fabricated his own net using paracord I believe

I'll take it. I planned on making an attic, just never got around to it. $80 is definitely cheaper than my time.

I do. It's the Blue Ridge Overland Gear attic. Don't use it too much, been thinking about taking it down. It's fine with the kids, but when an adult sits in the back, their head's in the net.

It's good for jackets and soft things like that... sleeping bags, etc.

I used an adjustable bend for the loop so that I can take all tension from outside, I just need to spend some time making the netting grid smaller and trimming the excess.

Agree with [MENTION=137794]JasonKoko[/MENTION] , had 4 tall adults in the truck this week and the back seat drivers made quite a fuss about wearing the net for a hat...did not bother me so much haha

Truly though, It is great for the kids jackets and drying towels and light weight stuff they would otherwise get there feet all tangled up with.

I actually just ordered some d rings (more like v rings) from amazon. And then I used Velcro cable ties on the hand holds in the back. Ordered a cargo net from amazon and all works perfect. Total cost was less than $20 for everything and works great

Did the same as this thread plan on adding some 550 cord to help control the sagging when it has stuff in it. Empty it tucks up against the headliner and out of the way nicely.
