Install factory Navigation when original Radio is single disk

I have a '08 4runner that has the single disc cd player audio system installed. I am fortunate to have the Original Toyota GPS Navigation in dash head unit with voice command from a 2008 Sequoia. I want to install this in my 4runner but have been told that I need to purchase the wiring harness to make it work. There has to be some other way to do this. Anyone who has installed navigation in their 4runner please help. Any other ideas or options would be appreciated. I have searched the forums but not found a solution yet. Also, do you know if the Sequoia until will even work with the 4runner.

I've seen the NAV units in the Sequoia and the screen/unit is pretty big (compared to a stock 4runner one). Pretty sure it won't fit. I'm sure you can get the unit to work, but getting it to fit would be the bigger(biggest) issue.
