Hello, I am about to tackle an install on my 03 limited w/ jbl.
I got an Avic D3 , with rear view camera, XM radio, pac swi-ps, Scosche TA07SR, and Metra trim kit.
I want to ask a few things if someone is familiar with this install before I start.
One thing I find confusing is that the Scosche adapter dose not have a illumination wire connection?
Where can I tap the illumination wire?
I also need to know where to tap the reverse wire, I have found where to tap the speed wire.
Also what about the rear view camera - what do I use to power that ? Dose the Avic have a power or do you use the reverse wire for power as well?
And have you guys found that the nav antenna wires reach ok to the rear roof of the veh.?
