Install OEM Nav on SR5? Don't have JBL

Is it possible to install the OE Nav system without currently having the JBL stereo system? Just swapped out the 2000 Limited (115k) for an '06 SR5 4x4. Love the truck, but the stereo system is horrific.

I'd like to install the OE Nav system, but am under the impression that I need to currently have the JBL audio in order to do that. Any thoughts/suggestions?

First, Congratulations on the '06!

Second, yes you can do it. The difference between JBL systems and non-JBL systems is the extra 4 speakers and that the JBL system is digital surround sound. The Camry navigation system fits non-JBL systems while the Solara navigation fits JBL systems. So what you'll need is the Camry navigation system with all the necessary wiring (oemvalue.com sells the whole kit). You'll also need an external amplifier since the Camry navigation doesn't have one built in. I don't think OEMvalue is including the amp anymore so if you get the system through them, you'll have to find an amp on your own.

Install the Eclipse AVN5435 instead. Fujitsu Ten makes both the OEM unit and the Eclipse.
