Installed 4th gen rear springs on my 3rd gen.

So I got board today and I had some old stock springs from my old 04 v8 4x4 t4r. I've searched around and couldn't find any info as far as 4th gen springs being put on our 3rd gens. The only thing I found was a little bit of info on fj springs.
So hell why not they just throw the rears in and see what happens.
The end results where pretty good. It sits higher in the rear now and doesn't hit the bump stops when I go over a bump. It feels a little stiffer but definitely not too stiff. My old springs had 200k on them and they were pretty sacked out.
Unfortunately I didn't measure before I installed them but after I put them in the fender is 21" from the wheel center.

I have the running boards in the shed. Lol. Currently I'm lettering her drive the 09 Audi A3. She loves how fast it is. she says the 4Runner is quote "too old".

Thats a bummer - that's a slick rig.

I bought mine for my wife after we sold out Passat TDI back and she loved it when she test drove it but she has grown to not like it somehow and I've kinda fallen in love with it.

What tires are those? I'm running those rims without spacers and 265/65/17 and they do not rub the UCA. Want to put on 265/70/17 but not sure if they will rub. Do you run spacers?

The tires are cooper at's and there 265/65r17. I don't have spacers yet. This is the set up it came with when I bought it. If I keep it I'll put 285/70's on it and put spacers on it.

Those look like Landcruiser 120 wheels

The wheels are off a 07 sport t4r. I like the look of them. They would way better with spacers.
