Installed Camera...lost some clarity

I just installed my BEC105 in my 2003 4runner to the factory navigation. I had to cut the two connectors provided with the BEC105 to make them fit through some tight spots. I just twisted the wires back together and I have a signal and picture. However it does seem i have lost some clarity. IF I took it to a shop and had them install some connectors on the two ends and hooked it back up is it going to make a difference? There are just two small wires within the big wire. Im not too up on these things and just wanted to know. BTW thanks to evreryone for the install. Was not bad at all.

You can get a crimper and connectors down at Radio Shack for a couple of bucks. Take it to a shop and your gonna get hit with a least an hour of labor. If you have a soldering iron, solder the wires back together and wrap it with heat shrink or electrical tape. If no soldering iron is available (you can pick one up cheap too) just get some crimp connectors and a crimper and do it right.

May or may not see any difference. It depends on how well you twisted the wires together and how well you insulated them from grounding out.
