Installed Eclipse nav system now have warning lights on dash

I recently installed a Eclipse nav system in my 03 and now the brake light,trac light,airbag light and VSC light are always on and none are functioning. I had to wire the nav to the speed sensor wire and the e brake wire in the back of the fuse panel. I checked what I thought were the correct fuse's and all seemed fine.
What now?

e brake wire in the back of the fuse panel? whaaat.... ebrake wire is... at the ebrake.

If you pulled all those fuses and had your car on or cycled the key while any of those were out, you set off the lights. Take it to advance auto or somewhere like that and have them run diagnostics on it and that should cut them off. If not, get ready for a raping by toyota.

Try disconnecting battery for about 10 minutes and then reconnecting.

A raping by toyota? I will get back to that. The black wire to the e-brake does not have to be hooked to the e-brake you can just ground it. Advanced auto does not always give a correct diag either. The best thing to do is have a toyota dealer check the codes. The scan tools we use does more than give you a code and clear it. The raping is when advance auto gives you the wrong diag and you start throwing parts at your vehicle. You pay the dealership for the right diag and the knowledge advanced auto can't provid.

the raping is because toyota will charge him to turn the lights off. There isn't necessarily anything wrong with his car, but pulling fuses can trigger these lights to come on especially if he cycled the key or had the car on while pulling any of these fuses. GM charges $110 to turn a check engine light off which happens just by cycling the key while a switch on the dash is unplugged.

You own a $30-$40k vehicle and worried about being charged to have your car fixed right. A $100 diag is cheap compared to the cost of what could be wrong with the vehicle. I am not saying something is wrong with the vehicle but you nor I can tell without a diag. Most universal scan tools will not read VSC DTC's only engine and evap codes. A scan tool in the wrong hands can cause more problems. How much training do you think the guys at advance auto have? You roll the dice but don't encourage someone else to do it unless you plan on footing the bill.

I can confirm that none of the functions that the lights show are working. Aka no trac control and no ABS etc... so its not just the lights being on. I think I will do a fuse check once again and try disconnecting the battery for a while... then its off to the Yota dealer.
