Installed GY Duratracs

Had Goodyear Duratracs Installed today. Driving after install felt awesome. Tires are even quieter than expected especially with the large treadblocks. Got size 285/70/17. Great fit and look with Toytec Ultimate Lift and Spidertrax. I will post pics tomorrow. As other have posted and advised me prior, after the install I got home and removed the front mud flaps and got out the dremmel and started cutting and cutting and cutting. I had a prior post about hammering the pinch weld but can't recall how much/far down to hammer it? I went into shock as I realized I was about to tear into my baby with my dremmel but hearing the tires rubbing changed my mind and again the tires are AWESOME!

Good choice on size, 285's look amazing with a 3" lift!! The best way to check for rubbing is to take it on the trails and check during flex. Cant wait to see the pics!

Okay enuff teasing here are the Pics of the Duratracs. Njoy hommies! :fro:

Looks awesome man. It looks like a totally different truck. Nice choice on the tires too. I want to step up to the 285 33s (well 32.8" ha) but am dreading doing any cutting/trimming...not sure if I could handle a lot that. :crybaby:

The new shoes rekindled an old spark for my 4Runner.

Thanks Crimson C. Totally Agree. I dont think anyone (with their head screwed on straight) CUT their beautiful happy 4Runner without some sort of hesitation. It took me s couple of minutes saying to myself r u sure u want to do this man? Answer: HELL F*&% YEAH BEOTCH!! She's loookin HOT!
Cant wait to see how she runs at Rausch Creek.

Looks swwweeeeet! Every time I see those duratracs, or 285s for that matter, I wish I'd stepped my game up a notch... But once these BFGs wear out...

Congrats on the new tires. I got same tires and size couple weeks ago. I was supprise how quiet they are too.

Ha that it does. I'll try to push and move as much as I can but there's only so much of that one can do before just having to cut. I think I may be going back to my 17's and possibly a set of these at some point.

I do enough damage to my 4R on accident, I don't think I could ever willingly cut into it!

Yours looks great though!
