Just installed my HID kit that I purchased from DDM Tuning and I have to say I am super happy with the results. Much brighter and wider range of light.

Haven't had a chance to take any pics the new lights on. I went with 8000k .. has a little blue look to 'em but not too much.

Get ready for a lot of people flashing you thinking you have your brights on. I had 8000k and was flashed all the time. I loved them though.
 
Flashin' lights!!!

Hey A10-you are dead on about the flashng lights from others...It was 7 AM here in Cali and on the freeway I was flashed by the car I had just driven around...I almost wanted to stop and let them by me just so I could flash them with my Highs and let him judge for themsleves that in fact NO I didn't have my high lights on and it was just that there candle bright headlamps were no match for mine...lol

Oh and by the way..I was also sent a second HID kit for my 4Runner..same kit times 2. Only charged me once though so lucked out.
 
I got the 8000k kit and i havent been flashed once.. I was expecting to be since the day after I put them on I drove 6 hours to the beach, but no one flashed me.
I am super happy with mine also :wink2:

I wouldn't recommend HIDs in your highbeams, unless you drive with them a lot. Flashing HIDs is very strenuous on HID components. HID components do not cope as well to flashing as Halogen bulbs.

Depending on the kits you choose, it could be as little as $70 to $200+. Kits using Philips components will be the most expensive.
 
I'm looking on the DDM website and they look like a quality company. However I don't know exactly what I need to do this set up. I've got an 06 Sport Edition. Its got what I call the "cat eye" lights but I'm assuming the proper term would be projection? Not sure. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!!!
 
H11 on the projector lamps.....Ddm is good they used to sell apexcone, quality is good, but the bulb color is not that great, i compared a 3000k kit i bought for my dads tacoma from ddm, and the ones on my truck from retro-solutions, my truck had more yellow color to it thn the ddm, ddm raptor kit is alright, cheap and affodable, thatsbwhy i got it for my gf corolla. They all are good kit, but my retro-solitions kit does a better job on color and brightness.

06+ have projector headlamps.

H11 is the bulb type for the low beams.
