Installed My Icon Today. Got A Question Though.

I installed the Icon coil overs today on the front. I am waiting to do the back as I am going to wait to do the rear until my current tires are worn out and I upsize them. I removed the XREAS and just installed some KYB's on the rear for the time being.
Here is my question/concern. After I had everything installed, tires on and drove it around the parking lot I pulled it in to lower it down some as the factory set was too high. I lifted the front end up off the ground so I had no load for the adjustment. While i was turning the ring the spring would rub/scrape the inside of the UCA. I lowered it down, checked my measurements and needed to adjust them a little more. This time I raised one front wheel at a time and the spring would not hit the UCA. Why would this make a difference and why would it hit doing it the other way? I double checked everything as it was at rest and my clearance is fine. This is my 1st time to do any real type of aftermarket suspension install so I'm learning as I go.

The ride home from my shop was awesome. I could most definitely notice a more firm, controlled ride. My DS/FT shock was starting to seep a little so I know I was loosing some dampening.

Makes a difference if your front sway bar is still on. If it's still on it's not drooping as far when you lift only one tire and thus not rubbing.

Yes, my sway bar is still on. I used the brackets they supply you with that moves it forward a tad. This still does not make sense to me why it would rub like this.
