Installed my Magnaflow 12256 on 2006 V8

Outstanding!! No drone at highway speeds, lets you know you have a V8!! Cruising speeds are quiet. Even my wife approved.....

muffler

I have been going back and forth on what muffler to put on my 2004 Sport Edition V8, I get mixed reviews on the flow masters in regards to noise levels and have heard a good bit of positive reviews on the magna flow. Did you take off the resonator as well, I have read that will take away some drone.

I installed one, as well. However, I found it to be a little droney, still. I put the stock resonator back on it, and it took all the drone out, and it sounds great now. Plus it sort of retained the stock look from the rear, I guess I kind of like that.

Pretty much all I did was buy the muffler, went to my favorite muffler shop, they put it on.

Sounds awesome. And like I said, my wife approved of it....and she never approves....lol.

I do have 2 kids, a 5 year old and a 1 month old. No drone at all when cruising, but when you get on it it sounds very nice. I've always used Magnaflows, lifetime warranty no questions asked.
