Installed ProComp lights, now the climate control lights don't work

What's up guys?

So like the title says, I installed some Pro Comp lights on my 94. They look great and work exactly as I wanted them to. However, during the install I believe I managed to short or unplug something for the climate control lights. I had most of the dash off of the passenger side and was reaching up to tap into the cigarette lighter 12v wire and had to be a bit forceful to get my big ass hand back there.

So I guess to put my mind at ease, can someone confirm my thoughts:

The passenger side of the dash comes off easy enough with the 10mm bolt and 4 screws. (3 in the glove box and one in the bottom left corner) However my hesitation is with the rest of the center and the driver side. Obviously to remove the center of the dash you've got to remove the lower driver side, but does the center part of the dash come out as one piece? It seemed like the radio surround was one piece and the surround for the heater/climate controls was a separate piece... is that right? The upper piece is what I need to remove to get behind there and fix the light, so do I need to remove more of the dash up top to get it out without snapping anything?

Thanks for looking, sorry for the newb question.
