Installed Speski Barrier

Well, I installed the Speski cargo barrier in my (new to me) 4Runner a couple weeks ago and it is doing a great job keeping our dogs contained and also allowed me to safely stack up some boxes above the rear seat over the weekend. This is the first "mod" that has been done to the truck and I'm very pleased with it. Planning a road trip for this summer and the barrier is certainly going to come in handy! Btw, Corbet was very helpful when I contacted him with a couple questions.

olice: Lol, a Great Dane and a Lab/German Shepard. We tried a standard-type pet barrier and they just swatted (no pun I swear) it down at their pleasure. Plus, I like that I can still slide things under this one if the seats are laid down.

LOL, that's cool you take your dogs with often enough that you need that. Especially dogs that size. Looks like the install turned out well.

Looks great. Glad the install went smooth. Full sized dogs need proper containment.

I may need to just pick his up the next time I swing through Durango. Cargo securing should be a priority for every SUV owner. Never mind the dogs, getting beaned by a projectile like a tool box is, well, pure Darwinism

i have been thinking about making one of these for my 4runner as well. have a lab/shepard mix, so im in the same boat!

I didnt see the mounting holes on my '05. are they there behind the roof liner or what? did you have a handle there before?

I am going to come right out and say it, that is the best set up i have ever seen for containing our dogs, and equipment. Corbet did a great job of making this product. :high5

I went this route almost like this one

but had it modified like the one in my work truck instead of the cage,Think plexi glass was used to where it can be opened my my pups to stick there head thru

There were handles in the mounting location originally. I hope my very prompt response is of help to you
