Hey what's up guys, I've got an old '88 4runner, and everything is stock in it except for some crappy little aftermarket radio unit-and the sound system is crap.
I've been looking at navigation/dvd/sound systems like the Pioneer F series, and noted with lots of dismay that the airconditioning unit takes up the area where i want my navigation unit!
The double slot where a nav unit would normally go is really low, down by where the stick shift is.
I just want to set up a decent sound system and a pioneer/kenwood/maybe eclipse unit and don't know what to do.
The guy at the audio shop nearby said they could rewire and move the airconditioning unit down and move the navigation unit up to where i want it for around $200.
I don't really know anything about sound systems either and wanted to know what i should get for under $200-300 if that is possible.
