installing aftermarket radio need help with backup camera

like the title said I'm planing on installing a kenwood dvd player. I have installed many dvd player but never with the backup camera, the truck has the one on the rear view mirror, so how can I get that signal to the dvd player? I tried looking for old threads but didn't find anything.

Step one, download the FSM and wiring diagram that nashman has posted.
Step two, read the relevant sections.
Step three, ???
Step four, done!

Step 3.7 Re-read the relevant sections of the diagram.

i'm still working on this. Although, i haven't really looked at it in a few weeks or so
