Installing Door Seals

I've never replaced a door seal but can't imagine it being too difficult. I think you might have to take up the door sills to put a portion of the seal underneath, not sure though as I don't have my truck to look at right now.
Probably going to need some sort of trim adhesive. Just start taking it off and you'll should be able to figure it out. Good luck!

I remember somebody posting a TSB from Toyota about an issue with the weatherstripping on later 3rd gens, but couldn't find that thread.

There's nothing to it really. Since you bought them specific for each door they will be pre-shaped. Just take the old ones out and replace. I didn't use adhesive when I put in the new seal on my driver door, and have never had any issues with it. But using the adhesive will certainly ensure an air tight seal.

Easy job; fun to work with bare hands instead of tools for once.
Agree with the other thread that the vent holes seem to want to be at the bottom.
Observe the existing ones before pulling them out.
I unknowingly installed the front door ones a bit rotated from their intended orientation. Later, in the top corner the seal started sagging away from the body. I was able to easily rotate them so that they didn't sag, all without adhesive of any kind.

I replaced all 4 door seals and happy with results.
Except... the back LHS side door now requires significantly more force to close. It's just annoying to have to slam that door, especially when window is down since that rattles the window. It's been 8+ months, and the new seal isn't self-compressing as I hoped.
Can the door be adjusted to relieve just a little pressure. Unfortunately, I think it's the hinge end. Probably need to relax it by about 1/16". Anyone know if/how this is done?

New seals are nice did the 5 of em.
Striker can be moved a bit Torx needed might get you what you need. IIRC hinge bolts have tapered shoulder for
locating hinge, might use a 2x4 between B-pillar how it's done Bodyshop most times.
