So here is my long sob story. My 22re 4runner started having trouble climbing hills and stinking of rotten eggs. I removed the cat to find it was plugged from a bad tps causing a rich condition. I will be doing a full tune up but now I have a big gap in my exhaust as the car was welded in and with no flange I can't just bolt a new one in it would have to be welded in which I realy don't want to do so my question stands, what is the best way to install flanges on the exhaust? Can I just flare the pipe and use a flange to put on the new cat?
