Yea...I've been amazed at the attention my snorkel has received! I get the question, "You plan on crossing rivers and/or lakes with that thing?!" all the time!
My response is always the same though..."Hey, you never know! Preparation is key!"

I'll get pics of the engine bay tomorrow, I am going to the shop to get my front Springs on. They are also going to make the hole bigger for the connecting hose from snorkel to engine.
As for the comments, an ounce of protection for an pound of prevention....or however the saying goes lol

Did you have any issues with the rubber hose? I can't get mine through the engine inlet, it gets kind of crumpled.

Mine's not crumbled, but it's a tad twisted. I did have to cut about 1/4 inch off to make it fit better, but I also cut sheet metal on the inside to make everything line up right because the snorkel fits a tad higher than the stock hole. I need to actually trim it a bit more because I did it with tin snips since I couldn't find my cutoff wheel for my dremel.

It's really thin metal on the inside, but a cutoff on a dremel will probably be the easiest. I'm not sure a jigsaw will have enough range of motion to cut without jumping around.
