installing new led headlights in 1990 4runner

... i saw the clips on the top edge of the grill pieces, but i wasnt sure if those are the sole pieces that disconnect everything or if theres a bunch of screw/bolts not visible?
Just those clips/fasteners on first-gen. Should be same on 2nd-Gen.
I detest hidden fasteners/clips and/or ones that break when you un-install them and I do not want to have to look through the manual how to remove stuff so I replace fasteners with simple nylon expansion nuts (license plate holders) and screws like here.

There's a TON of LED H6054 lamps, but I think they are all just friggin' ugly as hell, like these:
Just me though!
You are not alone - LOL!

...not too crazy looking. fairly clean i think imo.

YUP, Trucklites FTW. Clean. No Ricer - stylin' angel eye, crap. Installing mine tomorrow, then will sell the AutoPal housings.

.....and more importantly (IMO) they are DOT compliant (street legal; proper beam pattern). The problem with drop-in LED bulbs in these applications is the same as HID kits. …..they scatter light everywhere.

Those LEDs from Truck-Lite look very similar to the ones from GE (Nighthawk LED) shown in the below pic. The TLs appear to be a little less expensive than the GEs looking on Amazon (~$199 vs. $179 each). …..still expensive but worth the extra cost if you're going to do it right IMO:

Im pretty sure there is at least 1 screw in the center of the bottom. I know for 100% sure my first gen had 1 but maybe it was changed @ some point before I got it.

& yah I changed all mine to nylon expansion nuts/screws.... way easier IMO.
