Installing Wagner Thermo-Quiet Pads!

For those members who have installed the Thermo-quiet pads, do you use the shim plates from the old brake pads or install them right out of the box without placing any other hardware. I understand these pads are coated to prevent squealing and vibrations, so I am not sure if I should use the anti-vibration plates the OEM pads have.

Didn't use that brand but

I didn't even find anti-rattle shims on my old pads! New ones didn't have any either. So, all i did was put plenty of anti-seize on the back and slapped 'em on. 0.00% squeals, rattles or shakes. Just perfect braking - no more nose diving! I also did the rear shoes and adjusted the bellkcranks per the FSM.

Woohoo!

I have the thermo-quiet pads on my 2011 and I didn't use the shims. It didn't really look like they would fit with them. The brakes do work, but they do squeal when you first apply them, but that's it. They don't squeal under normal driving.
