installing warn m8000 on CBI hybrid?

Talked to Nathan at CBI today. This is the current production line. I expressed how much of a pita it was to tighten the winch through the small cutouts. I told him it would be helpful if instead of the 3 small circles, they had a rectangle access plate.

Have you relocated the controller yet? Because my grill was already cut up from my Light Force, I decided to rebuild it and make it work. Some wood trim, fiberglass, bondo and the "prototype" came out pretty good.

Interesting. If mine would have come like that would have been pretty upset. Did they say why the redisgn was needed? If they are going to do it they need to make sure their advertisements reflect the changes.

They said something about they ran into production problem with the bolt on front if I recall correct. He called me back while I was work, so I didn't have long to talk. Over all I like the bumper. Yes it royally sucked getting it mounted, but there is no way some crack head is going to run off with it in the middle of the night. I do wish they would have changed their website to reflect the changes. I also wish companies would try to install products to see what effects would come from making such changes. R&D should not but done by the consumer.

That is the ONLY perk I can see, other than being mildy easier to fabricate... So strange.

I don't even think it's a big deal, but what is a big deal is I make an order thinking it's one thing and get's delivered as something else. As long as you are happy that's all that mattered. My winch showed up this evening so It's finally time to get mine on.
