Does anyone have a tutorial on replacing the stepper motor(s)? I just need the info once the cluster is out. I don't know if the motors are plug and play or if you have to desolder and solder.

To answer your question or if anyone else is searching for this and wanting to know. Yes it does require soldering. Scott Lam at “The Track Ahead” does a good write up on it here:
But if your not familiar soldering on circuit boards I wouldn’t attempt it unless your prepared to make a mistake and have to replace the whole cluster.

They also offer a repair service if you want to send your cluster in but it’s a bit pricey at $175 or buy a completely refurbished cluster for $310 at the time of this post.
