Guys..

I've found the EPC in a couple threads, it doesn't seem to list all years that would have the parts interchangeable. Do we have any resource for this?

Specifically I'm looking for years that would retain the same 2nd row seat. So before I buy I can ensure it'll fit/look right.

I don't know of any online resource but the parts counter at any Toyota dealership should be able to help you.

When I was looking for a used driveshaft for my 95 Tacoma I called the local Toyota dealership. They can look up the part number from the VIN. When they have the part number pulled up (which has to be correct because it came from the VIN) their system also tells them what years the given part is compatible with.

Their system is apparently pretty accurate. In my case she was able to tell me that any 4x4 single cab Tacoma built between 1995 and 1998 would work as would trucks built in the first part of 1999. She told me to call back with the VIN from the donor vehicle if I was thinking of buying one out of a 1999 and she could tell for sure if it would work.
