Interchangeability of Roof Rack Accessories?

I have a question that I'm not sure has been asked before, and google hasn't given me much useful information on this topic so here goes.

I have a 19 4Runner with a Gobi stealth on order. Some Gobi accessories are pretty neat, like the toolbox for instance, but many are just either overpriced or very specific to another aftermarket part (i.e. ARB awning mounts).

I have been perusing the Frontrunner site, and their roof accessories appear to be specific to the FR rail-style bars they have so those seem to not play well with Gobi's mesh design, at least that's what I suspect.

How about Baja Racks? Their jerry/water can cases look great and that's likely what I would pick from them, and the site says they are compatible with mesh floor racks but of course they mean their own. Is there any spacing difference between the two mesh styles that anyone knows about?

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Any other brands conformed to work with a stealth rack would be equally welcome.

Just to suggest another route, look at sourcing your own accessories which may also be cheaper and more easily fitted to your rack.
For example, I first looked at getting one of these, you just drill your own holes where you need them:

20 Litre Fuel Can Holder | Princess Auto

But in the end I'm going with two of these just because it will be easier to get off the roof:

10 Litre Military Style Fuel Can | Princess Auto

And then tying then down to aluminum angle bought very cheaply from:

Aluminum 6061 Angle | Metal Supermarkets - Steel, Aluminum, Stainless, Hot-Rolled, Cold-Rolled, Alloy, Carbon, Galvanized, Brass, Bronze, Copper

Again, drilling your own holes but then you know it will fit! My roof rack system will be based on aluminum angles, eye bolts and a few quick fists.
