Interchangeable Fender Flares? SR5 v. Limited

It's easy for me to "assume" that the fender flares from a Limited will fit directly on my SR5 but does anyone know for sure?

Obviously the SR5 Bumpers do not have the holes to mount the bumper flares that the limited has, and vice-versa, but other than there is there any modification (drilling) required to swap on some limited flares? In the alternative, can one put SR5 flares on a limited without much hassle?

Thanks for the help. I'm a newb but searched and could not find this answer.

In addition, please post any advice regarding the safest/easiest way to remove the fender flares w/out damaging them. :thanks:

No they wont work. Limited flares clip into holes drilled into the body. sr5 flares screw into the fender lining clips

people generally dont add limited flares. Most you will find people taking them off and dealing with the holes in the body. I doubt you will want to retro fit this. The hole in the body are square for the clips. If you want flares i would suggest the bushwacker flares. they look nice and will have a much easier install.

Plus the people i know with limiteds dont really like the flares. they just hang too far off the truck

I love my limited flares!

BTW I think BlackStar added limited flares including drilling the holes and everything. He covered it in his build thread.

Given the scope and huge PIA it to deal with limited flares, you may just want to go with Bushwaker or something else aftermarket.
