Interest in a Baja Rack 3rd gen roof access ladder?

As the title states, who would be interested in the Baja rack ladder for our 3rd gens?
I have shot a few emails back and forth with the sales dept and it seems they never went into a full production swing with the ladder. I like their style much more than the gobi. It doesn't stick as far out from the hatch which I prefer and the curve that follows the hatch improves visibility. Maybe if there is a enough serious interest (serious enough to put a deposit ) they may reconsider revisiting this item for a small batch of production.
I don't know the full story as I am new to the 4 runner scene, but is never seems they got much past the prototype stage in 2011 iirc. Thoughts?

I may be interested in the style that runs with the window shape. Depending on how it mounts.

The Baja rack is the angled one that follows the shape of the hatch for better rear visibility.
The previous design clamped securely to the hatch with no drilling required.

Not a big priority on my list but since I won't buy a Gobi and if the price is right, I might be interested. Don't want to drill and it needs to clear the European style spoiler and a swing-out.

Yes most likely a no drill design. Gobi has designs for a no clamp system that was extremely similar.
The original price point was going to be $250-$300 I think.

Definitely needs to be NO DRILL. Maybe using existing bolts from lift gate and or a clamping type system.

Seems like the only real attachment point is maybe the top right spot that goes into the little spoiler mount hole? Then a clamping thing on the bottom to keep it tight. Top left...double sided tape? If no drilling is needed?

It's clamps to the top and bottom of the hatch to my knowledge and the weight rating was 250 iirc

I like the Baja rack ladder a lot, I'd get one or one like it if it clamped on like the old Baja one or the Gobi one does. I really want a ladder but don't want to cave and give my money to Gobi

Anyone have a better picture of how the ladder attaches to the liftgate? I may be able to design something that could be fabricated easier.
