The OEM spoiler looks nice from back and looking up at it, but if you change the perspective and look at it from the front and look down at it like from a second floor window it looks like a ricer spoiler on the 4runner.

The '06-'09 SE T4Rs came with the humpback spoiler as standard equip. right? I'm looking at a '08 SE right now that doesn't appear to have the humpback spoiler but instead has the "port installed" spoiler. This seems odd...

I think you are right, and when they do a port install they don't always do the humpback because it's an $800 option usually.

Found out the truck is a Urban Runner. As far as I can tell, the Urban Runners don't have the humpback. Bummer.

Our '06 SE does not have a spoiler.

I did however buy an aftermarket one about a year ago and have yet to install it :lol:

I see guys say this helps keep the back window clean. I could use more down force too. Does it keep the heat and exhaust from coming in while you're driving with rear window down? My 07 had a flat one and it didn't do anything other than look cool.

i found this diagram online, makes sense to have a wing when it snows, less drag = less air trapped in the back thus less snow building up when driving.

I am interested. How much would it cost altogether to get it shipped to Calgary, Alberta? I'm also curious if this is going to use the same mounting holes as the OEM spoiler w/ the hump. I'd assume so since it's made from the mold of one, but won't hurt to ask.
