Interest in meeting/ runs?

I'm thinking of maybe a small meet next weekend to scout out some trails out by Temecula. Anyone experienced out there? I think Pikeman mentioned that he was.

The trails choices near Temecual are more San Jacinto or Wildomar. San Jacinto is more along the easier lines but after the storms have become more moderate level and probably less likely for brush marks then Wildomar. Wildomar is a small OHV park with Vault style toilets and a camp/ picnic area at one end if people want to make it more of a family event. The trails at Wildomar have a lot of articulation going off camber from side to side and sometimes get washed out and overgrown but is still a fun area. I ran my 3rd gen there stock to how it is now and have had fun, mainly for my weekends with the kids.

San Jacinto sounds good, avoiding pinstriping is preferred. Should we meet for breakfast somewhere and head out from there?

This is for Saturday 23 April. Easy run families welcome.
9am at intersection of Mountain Ave and Florida Ave(Hwy 74) Shopping Center. Looking at my Thomas guide approx. the 43400 or 43500 block of Florida Ave Hemet/ Valle Vista. The shopping center has a Chevron, Taco Bell, Stater Bros and a few other small stores.
The two runs are more of a scenic run and to just get out and enjoy the Forest. Still will need to bring recovery gear, food, water, first aid kit and a good attitude. CB is also good for communication or a FRS radio set.

Have not heard of a defenite date yet. I did talk to pikeman on tuesday and he was getting ready to go on his army duty drill. Hopefully when he gets back we can come up with something. It will be cool to get another meet with fellow 4runners.

Hey guys, :hello: I would love to take a day off and meet up with you all. I am a newbie to this forum, and offroading. I just bought my Runner 3 weeks ago. I only have a 2WD but I wonder if I could make it to some of these easier trails with you all. I live near Seal Beach and I am down to Meet. Please let me know if we can make a meet in June some time. This sounds fun! :lookout:

Mike, I have 7 guys on the 5th Gen SoCal Meet up thread interested. If we changed to the 3rd weekend, would you be able to make it? If not, no worries, we'll do another run shortly after I'm sure.

Hope you could join us with a June Run. I posted I can do either a half day or a full day on June 11th, 12th, 18th, 19th, 25th, or the 26th. I'd prefer not to do anything on Fathers Day June 19th.
I too would like to give PIKEMAN a chance to come out with us. Maybe we could plan for late June? That way KEEMORUNNIN can join us as well. What do you guys think? I did see something about an Adventure Pass. How much do those cost? And where do I get one of those?
I really don't care where we go, just as long as its easy or moderate enough to be able to get my 2WD stock runner up there :thumb3:

Im down for hosting a meet at my house on Aero Drive just south of MCAS Miramar this weekend.....Already pulled the head off my motor and Im looking to remove, disassemble, clean up the block this weekend. Along with/followed by beer and some good old hangin out around the firepit once the sun is down. Ive done a head gasket but never a full rebuild on the old 22re so any assistance would be great. I have a cherry picker, engine stand, and all rebuild parts already. Id like to at least get it cleaned up and ready to go to the machine shop for the bore/hone.
