Well, last Sa****ay I woke up and my wife said she was thinking about trading in our Titan. It was a 2WD Titan that we bought in TX and never needed 4WD. She hated it because it was too big and I hated it because it was 2WD.
Anyway she gets online to check out the Nissan Frontiers and makes a few calls to some of the Dealerships. Well, in the meantime I was playing in this mens league hockey tournament so I was getting ready to leave. However before I left I told her to see what Toyota had to offer, and then I left.
Well I was only at the tournament for a few hours, so when I got back to my car, I had a few missed calls from my wife, so I called her back to see what was happening. Well she said that she made a deal on a 2010 Tacoma and that I needed to go and sign some paperwork. So I went to the dealership and did what I needed to do and we ended up walking away with a TRD Sport Tacoma, which is cool because it is pretty much fully loaded with some pretty kick a$$ options. Aside from that this particular dealership was hands down the best car dealership I have ever dealt with.
Okay fast forward 3 days.... I took my 99 4runner to the carwash, and forgot to lower the antenna. Well the carwash demolished my antenna. So what would a normal guy do? Go buy a new antenna right? Nope not this guy.
I was so impressed with the deal we got on the Tacoma and how awesome the guys at the dealership were, I decided to see what I could do about the 4runner. I didn't really want to have 2 brand new car payments and to be honest I didn't do any research on the 5th gen's but I did always like the 4th gen's.
I looked around and found one that I liked. Too bad it was at a different dealership. I say that because this particular dealership sucked big time. From start to finish I felt like I was doing them a favor just by being there. Well I finally got everything sorted out and decided to trade in the 99 and I got an extremely clean( on the inside) 03. The paint leaves a little to be desired but whatever I am going to have it repainted. Other than that it is awesome.
Anyhow I am happy with my purchase. Black 2003 SR5 V8 with 47,000 miles.
As far as mods are concerned, the first thing I am going to do is get it re painted, and I will go from there.
I probably won't need to post up much, since everything I have been wondering or wanting to ask has already been posted. Sorry for the long story, but since it's my first post I figure I would go all out.
