You are correct...but....I believe it led for 95% for the race and only was passed at the very end by the Hummer.

They musta used a different driveshaft then the stock Hummer in the 4x4 test.

I wonder how they managed to make it (and the Rubicon Trail too) without a Torsen center differential?

Perhaps by avoiding driving on mixed road conditions of snow, ice and clear pavement?
