I just feel such a great sense of disappointment with them as a company at this point. It seems they are taking the right steps at this point overall but I just have this sinking feeling in my stomach that Toyota doesn't fully understand what is going on here...

At the end of the day if it is definitively proven that Toyota has covered shit up and knowingly let people die I will not being owning Toyota product. Period. I don't do business with murderers. This may seem like a pretty harsh/strong statement but if the allegations are proven, well...if the shoe fits...

I say all this as a passionate 4runner fan...I mean it. I would sell my 4runner the next day on principle alone. This is how I roll in life. People say principle gets you no where in life. Bullshit.

I think they know their backs are up against the wall this time and that timely accurate information is vital to the survival of their brand. At least if they knew what was good for them this is how they would proceed.

It will be interesting to see how this stuff unfolds...

Hopefully, this whole fiasco will keep them in check and they'll rebuild the brand back to what it use to be. If Ford can do it, Toyota should be able to. Stop cost cutting and using cheap materials, and rushing products to market.
